Much as we'd like to always handle rental and payment arrangements by telephone, we are frequently at locations where bands are playing on soundstages (and you KNOW how loud some of them can be!). If we're not providing power for a concert, we may be in a classroom providing a presentation and teaching, and must give the people attending our full attention. Because of this, telephone conversations are often difficult, so we prefer that you contact us by e-mail. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as we can - typically within one business day (often even the same day).

Please include the following information in your message:
 
1) Your name (first and last).
 
2) If you are a commercial concern, a government agency, school, non-profit organization, or similar .. please provide the name and address of your company, agency, school, or group.
 
3) Tell us the purpose of your query. (For example: Question(s). Request for more information. Schedule a rental .. and so forth.)
 
4) If you're interested in renting the Solar ShuttleTM (and possibly the related auxiliary power systems), please provide:
  • Your event date(s)
  • The type of event (wedding, birthday, fund raiser, environmental, etc.)
  • Your event location
  • The event start and stop times on the day(s) of your event.
  • A list of all items you will need to power
  •  
    ... and any other details you wish to include. The more detail the better. We will assist you from there.
     
     
    If you would like us to contact you by telephone, please include your office or home phone number, and a cell phone number, along with a date time when we can best reach you. We often find one telephone call to be much more productive than multiple e-mail messages.

    We use conventional mail if you prefer to pay by check, or if you require a printed copy of the Rental Agreement, invoice, and/or statement. Otherwise, we will send PDF copies of documents to you via e-mail, and you are welcome and encouraged to pay using the PayPal® link below.

Steps needed to rent the Solar ShuttleTM .. as easy as 1, 2, 3!
  1. Contact us via e-mail at our e-mail address above. Describe the date, time, and location of your event, along with the type of equipment you wish powered and the power consumed by each item of equipment (if known). If not known, we'll do our best to assist you.

  3. If the date of your event is open on our calendar, we will let you know right away. We will then conduct a review of your event's power needs with you. If we feel our systems are capable of adquately powering your loads for the duration of your event, we will send to you a PDF version of our Rental Agreement for your review and approval. The Agreement will already have most of the blanks filled in with information you've provided to us. Paper copies of all documents are also available via US Mail. (It just takes more time.)

To pay by check, Cashier's Check, or money order: If you approve of the contract terms, please print, then sign and date the printed contract and mail it to us along with your payment to the address below. We accept checks, money orders, Cashier's Checks via US Mail. Do not mail cash. Instead, we will accept cash from you on site by prior arrangement, and before providing power. For cash payments, we will also provide a printed statement to you for your records.
     
    If you prefer to pay by credit card, please let us know and we will e-mail a PDF invoice to you showing the exact amount due. When you receive the invoice, return to this page, click the PayPal® link below, and follow the instructions provided by PayPal®. You will be required to enter the invoice amount into the payment box on the PayPal® page, along with your credit card and related information. (Please be assured we do NOT have access to any of your credit card or personal information. The payment transaction is strictly between you and PayPal®.)
     
    IMPORTANT NOTE: Your payment to us is your affirmation you have read the entire Solar Shuttle Rental Agreement completely, and agree with all terms and conditions therein. Submitting payment to us is the same as your signature on the Agreement.
     
    After we receive your payment, a PDF Statement will be sent to you via e-mail for your records. Payments made to us via PayPal® incur a small processing fee imposed by PayPal®. This processing fee will be included in your invoice.

    That's all there is to it!
     
    We will e-mail a completed contract back to you in PDF format, along with a Statement (also in PDF) denoting a summary of your event date and times, the rental charges, and proof of your payment. A printed copy can also be provided when we arrive on site if you request one in advance.

To pay via credit/debit card for rental of the Solar ShuttleTM and related equipment, or for classroom and presentation payments, please use the following PayPal® link.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your payment to us is your affirmation you have read the entire Solar Shuttle Rental Agreement completely, and agree with all terms and conditions therein. Submitting payment to us via PayPal® is the same as your signature on the Agreement.
 
 
Instructions for using PayPal®. Please read completely before clicking on the PayPal® link:
 
1. Click the "Pay Now" button below. A separate window will open on the PayPal® website.
 
2. Enter the "Pay This Amount" (located at the bottom of our invoice) into the "Item Price" box on the PayPal® page.
 
3. Choose a method to pay:
 
     If you have a PayPal® account, and wish to pay from that account, click the "Have a PayPal account?" link and follow the instructions provided to you by PayPal®.
 
     If you don't have a PayPal® account, no problem. You need not have an account to use PayPal®. Simply enter your information in the box titled "Don't have a PayPal Account?",
     and follow the instructions provided to you by PayPal®. You will not be required to set up an account to submit a payment to us.
 
     PayPal® accepts credit and debit cards from Master Card, VISA, Discover, and American Express.
 
 
If you are renting the Solar Shuttle, your payment to us is your affirmation you have read the entire Solar Shuttle Rental Agreement completely, and agree with all terms and conditions therein. Submitting payment to us via PayPal® is the same as your signature on the Agreement.
 
Transactions will show "PayPal * Solar Energy" as the transaction identification on your credit (or debit) card statement.
 
IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTE: None of your transaction information is visible to us, nor is it ever provided to us by PayPal®. We receive only your payment amount and the date of your payment. Your sensitive information is handled securely by PayPal® using very sophisticated data encryption techniques. For more information, click the "Secure Payments by PayPal" image below the "Pay Now" button.

Event Solar Power Privacy Policy (Plain English Summary)
 
All information you send or provide to us remains exclusively with us. We will never share, sell, publish, distribute, or otherwise release any of your information to anyone outside of our organization unless we are served with a specific court order or other documents that require we do so by law. Period.
 
 

 
Event Solar Power Detailed Privacy Policy

We at Event Solar Power place a very high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of our customers. This policy explains what types of information is collected our website, and how this information is used.
 
"IP" Addresses
We use IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer www.ntree.org/solarshuttle/, and for statistical metrics used to track website visitor traffic. Only our webmaster has access to IP information. IP addresses do not identify you personally, but instead show how many visitors used various features on our website. ("IP" addresses are "Internet Protocol" addresses - those funny number-looking things such as "123.45.678.9" you sometimes see as part of a website address, and elsewhere. It's like a disposable phone number that tells the Internet computers where to send information.)
 
"Cookies"
We do not use "cookies" of any type on our website, nor do we place any "cookies" on your computer. Cookies may be used on any linked websites not under our control. This includes the PayPal® site that handles your payment transactions. (What is a "cookie"?)
 
How Your Information May Be Used
First and foremost, your information stays with us. We do not sell, rent, share, publish, or release any of your personal information to anyone at any time. Period! We use your personal information to provide you with transaction information; to send e-mail messages; to answer your requests; and to process your payments. To reduce costs (and save trees!), we strive not to use standard mail, but do so when payments are made by check, Cashier's Check, or money order. We also use standard mail for sending hard-copy invoices and statements when requested. Otherwise, invoices and statements are most often sent in PDF format to the e-mail address you provide to us.
 
E-mail Privacy
We do not provide, sell, rent, share, or make available your e-mail addresses or other information to anyone.
 
Event Privacy
We will not publicize or post information about a private event on our website, nor share it via e-mail or any other public resource unless you expressly request in writing that we do so. We will gladly assist with publicity for public events that are already announced via websites or other publicly accessible resources.
 
External Links
Our website, "www.ntree.org/solarshuttle/" includes links to external websites. These links do not fall under our domain, and subsequently we cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any external websites.
 
Modifications
We may amend this privacy policy from time to time; please review it periodically. We maintain the option to modify this privacy at any time by electronic notice posted on our website. Your continued use of our website after the date that such notices are posted will be deemed to be your agreement to the changed terms.
